Program History: From AMCLC to EPN

The EPN builds on the success of the Alberta Municipal Climate Leadership Council (AMCLC), which ran from September 2022 to October 2025, engaged 45 members, and delivered 10 sessions focused on practical climate leadership for councils. The AMCLC established a strong foundation of relationships, shared language, and trust among elected officials—momentum the EPN now carries forward with a refined peer‑network model and updated program framework.
